Doing Social Media the Right Way

Social networking – using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube – and the plethora of other tools that give you the opportunity to connect with an International Marketplace, are very powerful when combined with a blog as your “expert base”. The social networking sites are like outposts for you to connect with your prospects and clients.

Understanding how to posture yourself and your brand in the new social media is very important and not to be ignored until you get your coaching practice or speaking business off the ground. There are social networking etiquette standards that can kill your brand if you don’t take the time to educate yourself in the right way to do social networking.

You might just be getting started with your coaching, speaking or book business but let me tell you that without a doubt you will struggle to make a go of it if you are not equipped with some basic knowledge and tools. I know because I was right where you are when I started my coaching practice.
