Changing your results
November 6, 2007
Your present or past results have absolutely nothing to do with your current results in life!
It’s also true that your current results in life are no estimation of your potential.
Think about those two statements. If you do not like the current results you’re getting on the job, in relationships - any area of your life - you do not have to be held back by what happened yesterday or in your childhood.
If you’ve failed your way through life - or if you’ve only enjoyed mediocre success up to this point of your life - don’t let your experience determine the future of your dreams. Dream BIG. If you can dream it you can do it.
Steve Bow says, "God’s gift to you is more talent and ability than you will ever use in this lifetime. Your gift to God is to develop as much of that talent and ability as you can use in this lifetime."
You have not begun to tap into your potential.
The key to chaning your results is to take charge of your inner most thoughts. It is in your thoughts that you transmute your desires to feeling. Your feelings determine your actions. Ulitmately it is your own actions which determine your results.
No one can ruin your life.
No one can "make" you angry, or sad, or happy.
Stop allowing your five senses and the environment to determine your thoughts and feelings. Use your higher intellectual faculties of perception, will, memory, imagination, intuition and reason to create the thoughts and ideas of the life you desire. As you mind works on your new thoughts and ideas you will begin to create the "feelings" or energy that attracts the people and resources which you need to create the life you desire.
Your thinking of your greater idea will inspire strong and powerful feelings that move you to action. Your actions will, no, your actions MUST deliver you results consistent with the thoughts and feelings you now hold inside your inner most being.
You are a goal achiever by nature. The question is "who’s goals are you achieving?" Is your goal just to get your bills paid each month? Is it just to keep the job you hate? What ever you hold in your focus is what life will deliver to you.
Are you ready to change your results?
When you move unpack your goals first!
September 10, 2007
I just recently moved my home and office. I temporarily downsized to a home half the size I’m used to living in. Wow! What a feat to fit everything into a smaller home!
It seems like it’s taking me FOREVER to get through all the BOXES. But I discovered a secret.
I started out by just concentrating on one box at a time - "just unpack this box," because the job seemed overwhelming. However, one morning I woke up and I had a vision for the rooms that I was unpacking. I saw the furniture where I wanted it. I saw the space the way that I wanted to live and work in it. What started out as a chore became effortless. The rooms just came together.
The difference…my secret…when I saw the rooms completed instead of all the boxes my mind put order to the project which inspired the accommodating action.
Before I could fully unpack, I needed to have a goal. When you move, unpack your goals first!
