Power of Life in Your Tongue

Proverbs 18:20-22
20 From the fruit of his mouth a man’s stomach is filled;
with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied.
21 The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Now that’s something to think about. We create a life worth living or a walking death with the POWER of our tongue. In America, we are so careless with the words that come out of our mouth. It’s as if we have lost all sense of significance when it comes to our words.
On any given day you can hear people say that their favorite food is "to die for" or that you "scared them to death." Many facts are described a "unbelieveable," "incredible," or fantastic.
What would happen if we spoke as if our words had significance? What if we understood the power that we exercise in our lives whenever we speak?
