Good question Krista. The Squidoo lens is really simple to create. If you know what modules you want to use and what content you want in each module you could have a lens up in 15 or 20 minute. You could spend more time creating lenses if you are developing your content as you go or if you are exploring the different modules and how they work. Chances are yoiur first few Squidoo lenses wilil take you more time; and each new lens will take you less time if you’re better prepared with content.

Thanks for the cool tips on creating Squidoo lenses. I’ve been meaning to create one for the longest time and everything seems to get in the way. After reading your post, I’m really inspired and have promised myself to try it out next week. I am definitely interested in your PR lens as well as Favourite lenses. My question is: how much time do you need to create a fully informative lens from the moment you sign up for a lens?

I was listening to the podcast you did – and thought you managed to get a nice overview of Squidoo into a half hour time slot. Once you get some of us talking about Squidoo, it’s hard to get us to stop. I never thought I would end up where I am now, but I am loving every Squidoodling minute of it. It’s a great expressive, creative outlet for me. (You can check out my lenses at my Lensography
if you would like to see what I’ve been up to.) Now though, I have to stop making lenses for a minute, so I can check out what your site is all about – it looks great so far!
